CURTIS JAMES WILHITE

Curtis James Wilhite died Sunday, Jan. 24, 2010. He was born Jan. 26, 1947. He was the son of Beulah and Willi Wilhite.

He attended Ottawa High School. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Army.

He worked for Wal-Mart Distribution Center until his illness.

He is survived by his wife, whom he married in 1988.

He is also survived by his six children, Regina Brown, Ottawa, Brenda Smith, Ottawa, Donald Wood Jr., Houston, Texas, Shawn Renee Wood, Osawatomie, Amber Wood, Hosington, and Anthony J. Wilhite, Avondale, Ariz, five siblings, Patricia and Steve Well, Kansas City, Kan., Kay Teter, Branson, Mo., Melody and Monty Harder, Kansas City, Kan., Robert and Alice Wilhite, Ottawa, Willi W. Wilhite II, Corpus Christi, Texas, 15 grandchildren, two best friends, Robert E. Hopkins and George V. Louderback, Ottawa.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Willi and Beulah Wilhite, a daughter, Reva Ann Mills, and a brother, Kenneth Wilhite.

There will be no memorial service, but contributions to Disabled Veterans of America are appreciated.
