William L. Hulcy, 24, Pomona,  died Tuesday, June 29, 1971, when his car collided with a Santa Fe freight train at a grade crossing near Ottawa.

He was born Nov. 27, 1946 in Ottawa and at the time of his death was employed in the maintenance Dept. of the Inter-Collegiate Press, Kansas City, MO.

He was married to Joyce Devin in Springridge, on Jan. 29, 1967. She survives.

He was also survived by twin daughters, Sherry and Shelly Hulcy, of the home; his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Robert W. Hulcy, Ottawa; 3 sisters,  Mrs. George Coopey, Cocoa Beach, FL., Mrs. Don Camblin, Iola, and Miss Patricia Hulcy, Ottawa; and a step-grandfather, Earl Patee, Ottawa.

Dengel Funeral Home was in charge with burial in Highland Cemetery.
