Priscilla Jane Carey, a 20-year-old Ottawa girl, was killed early today when the sports car in which she was a passenger overturned, pinning her beneath it.  Miss Carey, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles D. Carey, Jr., 945 S. Mulberry, was dead on arrival at Ransom Memorial Hospital.  The one-car accident occurred at 3:15 am south of Ottawa in the state roadside park near the office of the highway patrol. 

Miss Carey was born Dec. 3, 1947, at Ottawa and lived here all of her life.  She attended Ottawa schools and was a 1965 graduate of Ottawa High School.  She attended the University of Kansas for one year and had attended Baker University for the past two years.  She was a member of the First Methodist Church here.

Survivors include her parents and three brothers, Frank Carey, 19, Jay Carey, 17, and Clark Carey, 12, all of the home; paternal grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Charles D. Carey Sr., 1203 S. Hickory; maternal grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. L.T. Pattie, Williamsburg, and several aunts and uncles.

Services at the First Methodist Church and Burial at Highland Cemetery.
