Charlene Oyler Obituary

Ella Charlene Oyler, 75, Topeka, Kansas, passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2022.
Charlene was born in Ottawa, Kansas on November 18, 1946, the daughter of Clevy and Ella Greenfield Porter. She graduated from Ottawa High School in 1964. Charlene married William Oyler, Jr. in Topeka on December 31, 1976. She worked in housekeeping in various Topeka nursing homes. Charlene attended Christ Lutheran Church. She enjoyed collecting frogs, planting flowers, and riding motorcycles with William.
Charlene is survived by her husband, William Oyler, Jr.; son, Byron Oyler (Christine); grandchildren, William and Mia Oyler; brother-in-law, John Oyler (Kay); and sister-in-law, Jeanne Pence. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.
Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, August 1, 2022, at Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, 2801 SW Urish Road, Topeka KS 66614. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at the funeral home. Cremation will follow. Inurnment will be at a later date in Mount Hope Cemetery.
