Floyd Leroy Parkhurst, 80, Prairie Village, formerly of Eagleville, MO., died Friday December 12, 1986, at St. Luke's hospital. He was born in Davis City, Iowa, and lived in Ottawa, Kan., 20 years before moving to Kansas City six years ago.

Mr. Parkhurst formerly worked for the Ottawa School District. He was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He leaves his wife, Clella Parkhurst of the home; a son, Kenneth Parkhurst, Independence; two daughters, Nina Barnes, Overland Park, and Janet Cress, Olathe; four brothers, Elza Parkhurst, Clarence Parkhurst and Garland Parkhurst of Eagleville, and Orville Parkhurst, Hatfield, MO.; three sisters, Grace Hale, Perris, Calif., Ethel Bowen, Ridgeway, MO., and Lucille Fibranz, Grandview; five grandchildren; one great-grand daughter.

Graveside services held at 2 pm today in the Payne Cemetery a/k/a Lone Rock Cemetery, Hatfield. Friends may call from 12:30 to 1:30 pm today at the Boggess Chapel, Eagleville.
