Obituary for Gary Forrer:

Gary Lamar Forrer 66, formerly of Emmett, Kan., died on Aug. 23, 2012 at the Sedan City Hospital.Gary was born June 26, 1946. He is survived by his father, Edward, a sister Linda and a brother Larry all of Princeton, Kan. Also survives are his three step-daughters, Rachael, Sarah and Rebecca Anderson of Sedan, and one granddaughter Delilah Jane of Sedan.  Gary was proceeded in death by his mother Georgia in 2005. Gary made his living as a truck driver/ crane operator. He shared his operations with his best friend Hank Stockman of Emmett.  Gary graduated from Ottawa High School with the class of 1964. Gary enjoyed his dogs and his friends. He battled cancer for the last six years of his life. Cremation has taken place. A memorial will be held in Emmett at a later date. A private ceremony with family will also be held at his father’s house in Princeton, where he will be at rest.
