I received a nice call from Connie's husband, Bob Briley, who now lives in Joplin, Missouri.  Bob is very proud of Connie's military career.  He explained that upon graduation from Ottawa High School in 1965, Connie enlisted in the United States Army, on the same day, with her brother Boyd Albers.

In recognition of Connie's military service, plans have been made to visit Bob at his home in Joplin, to present  the OHS Military Service Metal that was first presented to classmates with service records, at our 50th class reunion in 2015.
