Julie (Capron) D’Javonn, 66, Las Cruces, New Mexico, formerly of Ottawa, passed away Aug. 18, 2014, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Cremation was at her request with a celebration of her life scheduled for Sept. 30, 2014. She was born Sept. 26, 1947, to Wayne and Peg Capron, who are both deceased. She married Greg Seymour on Aug. 18, 1966. They had two children, Chad and wife, Linda, of Venice, California; and Mellissa (Tisha) Seymour of Las Cruces, New Mexico. They later divorced but remained close friends through the years. Survivors also include brothers, Tom Capron and wife, Alma, of Hatch, New Mexico; Mike Capron and wife, Ann, of Sheffield, Texas; sister, Marty Capron, Hatch, New Mexico; and several nieces and nephews. She was very involved with her children and granddaughter, Katie. She was so excited about the coming of her second grandchild due in January 2015. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
